Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), a key university in China directly under the Ministry of Education, is a member of the national “211 Project” and “985 Project”, the top honours among Chinese universities. It was founded on May 26, 2000 by the merger of the former Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University, Wuhan Urban Construction Institute and Wuhan Science & Technology Vocational College.

Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a prestigious university both in China and across the world in the field of Foreign Language and Literature and a PhD degree from a prestigious overseas university, and have published relevant academic papers in SSCI/A&HCI journals or internationally influential research achievements. Those who also have an educational background in history, journalism, sociology, anthropology, education or management will be especially preferred.

一、学校及学院简介
华中科技大学是国家教育部直属的全国重点大学，由原华中理工大学、原同济医科大学、原武汉城市建设学院和原科技部干部管理学院于2000年5月26日合并成立，是首批列入国家“211工程”重点建设和国家“985工程”建设的高校之一。
建校60多年以来，华中科技大学已经发展成为一所享有广泛社会支持和良好声誉的大学。华中科技大学求真务实，广纳资源，发展迅猛，在国内大学中引人瞩目。在这所著名高等学府的学院群体中，有一名朝气蓬勃的新成员，她就是华中科技大学外国语学院。
华中科技大学外国语学院设有英语语言文学、日语语言文学、德语语言文学、翻译和法语语言文学等五个本科专业以及负责全校外语教学的大学外语教学中心。在“中国语言文学”一级学科博士点下，设有“中外语言文化比较研究”二级学科；拥有外国语言文学一级学科硕士学位授予权，外国语言学及应用语言学、英语语言文学、日语语言文学和德语语言文学等四个二级学科硕士学位授予权以及翻译硕士专业学位点。
学院现有专任教师178人，其中教授15人、副教授65人，博士生导师7人、硕士生导师42人；有三位教授在教育部大学外语教学指导委员会、教育部大学英语四、六级考试委员会和英语专业指导委员会任职。拥有“大学英语”和“英汉互译”两门国家级精品课程。
学院设有外语教育研究中心、语言学研究中心、翻译研究中心、比较文化（文学）研究中心、国别（区域）研究中心（筹）、日本文化研究中心和德国文化研究中心等七个研究中心。建有同声传译实验室、计算机辅助翻译实验室、口译实训平台以及湖北省语言学习示范中心。
二、人才需求信息

1. 敬岗爱业，身心健康，品德优良，为人正直诚实，具有责任心，适合从事教师职业；
2. 学术带头人应具有高级职称（副教授45岁以下，教授50岁以下），就职于国内外国语言文学学科排名前列的学校，在本研究领域取得标志性成果。
3．青年骨干教师应具有海内外著名大学的外语语言文学学士学位和国外著名大学的博士学位，35岁以下，具有较强的科研能力并在SSCI/A&HCI收录期刊上发表过一定数量的学术论文或取得具有国际影响力的研究成果。
4．尤其欢迎具有历史、新闻、社会学、人类学、教育学、管理学、信息管理、计算机等跨学科教育背景的有识之士。
