Job Description:This job is to be performed by a Senior Network, Server and Desktop Support Associate. The duties and responsibilities he/she is going to take on this job include, but not limit to: l
Manages and administers various desktop operating systems; l
Manages and administers local configurations and utilities associated with desktop environment; l
Utilizes remote management tools and utilities to diagnose and resolve desktop problems; l
Performs proactive server monitoring for the desktop environment; l
Performs Root Cause Analysis to identify and prevent operational problems; l
Coordinates the installation of equipment and software necessary to meet the clients¡¯ desktop requirements in the most efficient and cost effective manner; l
Collaborates with other team members and or other groups to plan projects or resolve problems; l
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with the various internal and external support teams; l
Maintains and manages a working relationship with third party vendors and suppliers;l
Ensures effective client services and adapt processes according to client satisfaction feedback and ongoing dialog; l
Creates and maintains accurate and up to date procedures and technical documentation; l
Communicates issues to team leads, regional, or global management. Knowledge: l
Knowledge of systems and network administration, telecommunications and various types of desktop and server hardware and software; l
Experience with managing and troubleshooting the Cisco switches and other network equipments. Skills and Abilities:l
Excellent information technology knowledge with strong problem solving skills; l
Good people skills, teamwork, and relationship building skills; l
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal; l
Expert on MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) a plus;l
Ability to supervise and manage a team; l
Ability to work overtime if required.Qualifications:
l
Bachelor ' s degree or above on Information Technology or equivalentl
6-8 years experience on information technology support l
