Position: Ecommerce and Digital Publishing Associate
Company:
Phoenix Tree Publishing Inc is the subsidiary of Beijing Language and Culture University Press in United States. We are dedicated to provide Chinese learning materials and culture-related books. As a new company, we are expanding rapidly and we now have an opening in our marketing department.
The E-Commerce Sales Associate will assist with various tasks in the marketing and sales department located at our Chicago office. Strong computer skills are needed in this position as well as an interest in sales and marketing.
Job description:
1. Optimizing the performance of our official website
2. Supporting ecommerce sales
3. Managing and promoting our book stores on Amazon and other platforms and processing orders accordingly
4. Setting and achieving targeted sales goals
5. Assist with customer inquiries and the shipping of items when necessary
6. Solving internet or software-related problems
Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communication major with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
2. Familiarity with ecommerce and digital publishing
3. Experience with Chinese textbook or teaching preferred
4. Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
5. Ability to deal with pressure
6. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others effectively
7. Possess creative and strategic thinking
8. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and basic understanding of SAP and visual design software
9. Interested in ecommerce and have strong computer skills
