One of the top three largest Chinese banks is seeking talents to join their Chicago branch which will be in operation soon.
They are looking to fill three positions: Commercial Loan Officer, Trade Service Officer and Human Resource Position.
Commercial Loan Officer (Mid-Senior level)
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Identify, explore and analyze potential loan markets in relation to syndicated loans, commercial real estate leans and trade finance loans
• Develop and maintain client relationship for both potential and existing clients
• Exercise appropriate account management plans and systems to maintain and deepen the existing account relationship and maximize profitability
• Prepare and oversee the preparation and closing of loans
• Coordinate, examine and monitor financial information and the associate written analysis of risk exposures
• Manage entire loan portfolio to minimize risk and maximize profitability
• Supervise and provide guidance to Account Officers as necessary
• Oversee the operational control of all steps in the loan procedure
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of working experience in commercial lending
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent
• Experience in dealing with Chinese companies or Fortune 500 companies is a big plus
• Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin
Compensation

Trade Services Officer – (Mid to Senior level)
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Develop clients and business in Trade Finance area, including (but not limited to) solicit targets corporate clients; establish business relationships and promote bank products and services to prospective clients
• Understand client needs and identify potential business opportunities with prospective clients
• Evaluate deals and negotiate deal terms with partners and/or prospective clients
• Responsible for client relationship management, including (but not limited to) maintaining client relationships by understanding clients’ feedback of bank products and service in order to offer satisfactory products and services to clients
• Ensure timely delivery of clients’ feedback of bank products and services to internal department and senior management and work internally to meet client needs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, finance, marketing or related fields
• At least 5 year experience in trade service
• Strong familiarity with trade finance products and service. Extensive experience with Letter of Credit, Stand-by Letter of Credit, receivable, payable and inventory supply chain business.
• Sales and marketing oriented. Strong banking knowledge
• Excellent communication and writing in a business environment
• Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin
Compensation

Human Resource Position/HR Administrator (mid to senior level)
Requirements:
• At least 4 years of working experience
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• Bilingual in Chinese and English
• Familiarity with Illinois Labor Law a plus
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise activities related to Administration, Human Resources and Information Technology
Human Resources:
• Revise and update policy and procedures
• Recruit new employees and conduct on-boarding process
• Administer performance evaluation
• Coordinate attendance and payroll systems
• Coordinate training programs as needed
Administration:
• Supervise and maintain office security issues
• Prepare budget for the Branch, mail expenses, facilities management, physical assets, security and all other general administrative functions
• Ensure Bank’s insurance policy coverage
Information Technology:
• Coordinate the arrangement of annual disaster recovery test
• Monitor profile of computer users, computer software and hardware
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with the candidate’s experience, including a base salary, bonus and a benefits package.
