REPORTS TO (Job Title): Regional VP/Director
AVAILABLE LOCATIONS: Chicago/Naperville,IL
GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY
As a Regional Internal Specialist, you will work from the assigned regional office to provide unwavering support to life insurance agents, empowering them with the tools and guidance needed to excel. Your role includes coordinating seminars and events, facilitating insurance transactions, and educating agents on financial planning strategies to ensure exceptional client service.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support to affiliated life agents from the assigned regional office and assist other regions as needed.
• Analyze product performance to help agents meet clients' financial needs and achieve their goals.
• Coordinate seminars and events including but not limited to registrations, supplies ordering and organization, venue setup; assist with training videos replay
• Educate agents on financial planning concepts, including retirement preparation and wealth transition strategies.
• Facilitate insurance sales and transactions by scheduling medical exams and collecting client information.
• Serve as a liaison between agents and internal teams, including processing, contracting, licensing, and commission departments.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge across all insurance carriers.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Licensing in Life, Health, and Accident Insurance is preferred. New hires must obtain proper licensing within the first 90 days.
• Bilingual in English and one of the following: Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean.
• Minimum of administrative or customer service experience in insurance (Life, Health, or Property & Casualty).
• Ability to work on weekends i.e., once a month to support local seminars and events.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a career-oriented mindset, professional etiquette, and a positive learning attitude with a growth mindset.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH
Experienced Internal Specialists may advance to the Regional Director and lead a branch.
Regional External Specialist
• Provide support to affiliated life insurance agents, internally and externally.
• Responsibilities include recruiting productive agents and providing ongoing development and support.
Regional Director
• Manage office operations within the stationed region.
• Oversee office production and development.
• Supervise Regional Internal and External Specialists.
• Motivate and enhance existing agent productivity.
• Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents for overall sales results.
Regional Vice President
• Oversee the entire region, including all offices within it.
• Responsible for overall production and development.
• Supervise Regional Directors, External Specialists, and Internal Specialists.
