A high-tech small business in Chicago area has openings for summer interns. In collaboration with a leading research institution, the small business is developing high-tech medical devices for patients with neurological impairments or sports-related injuries. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an U.S. university with engineering background such as mechanical, electrical, or bioengineering are welcome to apply. The positions involve development of robotics devices for diagnosis and treatment of neurological and sports related injuries in the upper or lower extremity; and hardware and software development of medical devices. Hand-on skills are valuable. Extension beyond summer is possible.
