Job Duties:
1.
Cover newsworthy events among theChinese immigrant communities at the greater Chicago area;
2.
Cover newsworthy events in the mainstream societies, with a focus on topics that encourage the civic participation among the Chinese communities at the greater Chicago area, such as election campaigns/issues, voter registrations, legislative issues, cultural events;
3.
Edit and release news reports through website channel and social media accounts;
4.
Write column stories and critiques of community events;
5.
Plan, coordinate, write, and edit regular feature reports; and
6.
Plan, coordinate, write and edit special of community issues that involve online survey design, executive and data analysis.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
