POSITION OVERVIEW
Hotel Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the hotel, specifically ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients. This includes managing the hotel team to maintain quality standards and overall hotel practices regarding guest services execution, meals adherence, overall cleanliness, smooth and accurate check-in & out, client invoicing & cash controls, time management, and providing an exceptional experience for the clients while maintaining the hotel's brand.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting, training and supervising staff
Managing budgets
Maintaining statistical and financial records
Planning maintenance work, events and room bookings
Handling customer complaints and queries
Promoting and marketing the business
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Business, Hospitality, Marketing or in a relevant field required.
Experience:
Related experience in hospitality or a customer service environment highly preferred.
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must speak fluent Mandarin and English. Cantonese is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet the hotel needs and work volume that may require more than 40 hours a week to complete essential duties of this job.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shift focus from one task to another during distracting conditions
Strong customer service skills
