In 1937, he went back to China and bought an expensive two-storied house which belongs to private property in downtown Guangzhou. He has the legal title deed for the house, land deed and complete purchase procedures. My father Yuan Rengpan and brother Yuan Yiqun has been Chinese Americans in early years. According to Chinese Inheritance Law, the heritage house shall be inherited by the first legal heir Yuan Yiqun's offreing in America and Yuan Yiqin's offspring in China.
