Snow Lake Capital is a Greater China-dedicated long/short equity investment firm with offices in New York and Beijing. The firm seeks to generate outsize returns over a long time horizon through deep fundamental analysis, an extensive network of contacts in the region and a nuanced understanding of the Chinese culture. Position Description:

Snow Lake Capital is seeking summer interns to join its Beijing team. Responsibilities include:



  • Understanding and analyzing the business models of U.S. and Hong Kong-listed Chinese companies
  • Constructing and maintaining detailed company specific financial and valuation models
  • Constructing and maintaining industry supply / demand models; Reviewing companies’ quarterly and annual filing and performing forensic accounting analysis
  • Conducting conference calls and meetings with industry experts, consultants, competitors, suppliers and customers
Qualifications:


We are looking for candidates with:



  • A demonstrable passion for investing (prior professional experience not necessary)
  • A strong interest in China (both economic and cultural)
  • Intense intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn
  • Superior critical thinking capabilities and a thoughtful, quantitative approach to problem solving
  • A strong foundation in finance, accounting, and industry/company analysis
  • Impeccable integrity, and are-self starters and team players
  • Native Chinese language skills (including reading and writing)
