I am not a lawyer and the info I got from the internet is controversial. Taking a photo is different from publishing it. This article may help:

I am not trying to set the rules here, but it would be healthy to open this issue for some public discussion.

Thanks for your inputs. This remain a touchy subject when it comes to children. A higher standard applies to children IMHO.
